Michoacán is one of the beautiest states in whole México. It offers all kinds of climates and scenarios.  It is divided in seven regions, each one with something differente to offer and many things to do. This is a full panorama of the state.  Apatzingán Region

Apatzingán (lugar de comadrejas) es una región de clima cálido, al suroeste del Estado y aprox. a 600 metros sobre el nivel del mar, regada principalmente por las aguas del río Tepalcatepec, vertiente del Balsas.

Además de la ganadería, actualmente sobresalen los cultivos de melón, mango, limón, chicozapote y otros productos, muchos de ellos con calidad de exportación.

En esta "terracalenteña", el arpa y el violín resuenan en alegres sones y picarescas balonas. En las fiestas regionales pueden apreciarse los caballos bailadores y los "cuerudos" (hombres vestidos a la usanza regional del ganadero)

La reciente ampliación del sistemas carretero que conecta con la costa michoacana y el redescrubrimiento de vestigios prehispánicos como los petroglifos de "Las Pintadas", entre otros, a lo que se le agrega la oferta de balnearios donde se aprovecha el cálido clima del valle, hacen de esta región un sitio digno de ser visitado por propios y extraños.

The East of Michoacan perfectly joins health, rest, fun and culture. It is distinguish for it richness in natural beauty, formed by forests of pines, oak and oyamel as well as by lakes and hot springs, perfect to practice ecotourism, enjoying the peace granted by nature.
 

Some of the places to visit are, los Azufres, Laguna Larga, Pucuato, Sabaneta, Mata de Pinos and Tziranda Cave, among others.It also has one of the must precious natural attractions in Michoacan, the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuaries, which are a symbol and pride of the people from Michoacan and can be visited every year from November to March.
 

It also offers the opportunity to visit important cities of the independent Mexico as Zitacuaro and mining towns as Angangueo and Tlalpujahua..

There is no better place than the Coast of Michoacan to have some unforgettable vacations, enjoying the sun, beach, adventure, ecology, culture and tradition.

There are beaches for every demand, from soft and hugging waters for families with children up to turbulent waves of open sea for surfing; places where Nature was extremely kind to provide them with a great variety of animal species and vegetables. And what to say about its people, kind people who are ready to offer the best services to the visitor.

 

There are also indigenous communities where the kindliness of Nahuatl handcrafts, due to their technique and design, are attached to the norms of pre-Hispanic periods; as well as the rescue of traditions in regional outfits, music, and dance.

 Morelia
 

Morelia, capital of the pink stone dominates the landscape, to wander through its Historical Center, whose broad avenues are flanked by spectacular civic and trligious monuments built from 16tyh to 19th century, is a pleasure, since one has the sensation to live in other times, its streets, which invariably culminate at some temple or church, were designed with the intention of the course of faith.

 Pátzcuaro
 

Pátzcuaro means t"the place where they dye in black.

 Zamora
 

The region of Zamora is a privileged area because of its culture and conservation of its tradition, acompanied always by its original handcrafts and its rich gastronomy.

 

This region offers the visitor from big large cities with their museums and large temples to the typical town of the Purhepecha highland that with its colorful and deeprooted customs receives the tourist witha warm treatment and an exquisite plate of "huripo" with "corundas" (a beed stew with tamales wrapped in husks).
